This was one of the most successful campaigns we worked for. Kremsa needed help with programming and graphic design and we gladly helped. Microsoft Excel celebrated its 25th Anniversary and Microsoft wanted to create a campaign to accomplish several goals. Some of them were:

  • acquire more fans
  • drive brand awareness
  • connect with customers

The strategy was really simple. Create a viral campaign called “Favorite Excel Memories”. The users could submit their favorite memories related with Microsoft Excel for a chance to win a free Xbox 360 and Kinect package. The winners were determined by the number of votes their memories received from the users. The app provided options to share the memories with their friends and ask them to vote for the story, what made the campaign very viral.

The page fan base grew by 150% during the campaign.
